Our Learning:
We started our day with math. Ms. Collins class starting creating their own adding or subtracting word problems today using two and/or three digit numbers. After math the class had their morning snack then had Daily 5. Ms.Wood was our class visitor again and read with a few students. The class finished the morning with dance in the gym. After lunch the two reader's theatre groups performed in from of the class. Then the students had an extra round of Daily 5 because rotations were cancelled today. After Daily 5 we had a well needed body break outside. We continued our afternoon we a read aloud by Ms. Collins from the book called Mimi's Village. We ended our day starting a KWL chart about our country we choose to research.

Comment: Please share one way the people in Mimi's Village had a lower quality of life then we do here in Canada.
We will be welcoming parents to the school for our second round of Student Led Learning Walks. This time, we will be showcasing work from Kindergarten to Grade 4 related to the common theme ‘Mathematics with Literature connections’. The purpose of Student Led Learning Walks is to make learning visible for everyone as we share what the goals, words and expectations of curriculum look like as they come alive across all grade levels.
