Our Learning:
Another busy day in Rm.81! We met with our Random Acts of Kindness group twice today, coming up with our idea for what we want to share for our assembly in January. We are working very hard with Mrs. Quilley's class. We saw Jeff Stockton twice today as well. The first time we got together with our group of 10 and practiced telling your story in front of each other and the hosts got to practice their scripts. Tomorrow we will finished getting through everyone in our group. The second time meeting with Jeff Stockton we got together with Mrs. Quilley's class and Jeff Stockton talked about using appropriate volume while story telling. We had music in the morning.
In the afternoon we watched the grade 1/2's Christmas concert rehearsal and Ms. Brierley lead a social studies lesson introducing the quality of life.
Homework:
Every evening until the Jeff Stockton performances please do your vitamins (your story board on your finger tips), as well as, practicing telling your story to a family member. Remember to add movement, facial expressions, and voice expressions. The more you practice the better you will feel about your story and the more you will be comfortable telling your story! Everyone is doing such a fantastic job!
