Our Learning:
We started our morning with our in school field trip - Clay for Kids. The class did a fantastic job making coil elephant pots. We will get them back in about 3 weeks. We came back to the class for a read aloud/snack and then went outside for gym class. We played kickball. After lunch, we had daily 5. Students were working on finishing their paragraphs as well as putting their TUSC videos in Iris. After daily 5, we got into our Inquiry groups for some work on our projects.
Homework:
Paragraphs/stories are due on Friday. They are to include at least 8 of the following common words:
little, good, like, bad, laugh, said, big, scared, nice, cold, sad, hot, pretty, walk, ran, look, happy
Have a great night.
- The Ecoteam is in desperate need of parent volunteers for the afternoon tomorrow - Wednesday May 25th. Please email Ms. Collins or Mrs. Redwood if you are able to help. Thank you!
- Students need a signed note from their parents to not participate in gym. It is sandal weather, however, please make sure students have appropriate footwear to participate in daily gym or body break activities.
- Please return forms for soccer by Tuesday May 24th.
- Wednesday May 25 - All grade 3 and 4's will be visiting Dr. George Stanely @ RT Alderman for a school tour and visit. If you have not returned your permission form, it needs to be in tomorrow.
