There is No School tomorrow, Friday November 20. - PD Day
Families Helping Families donations are due December 2.
Our Learning Today:
Mrs. Redwood was Rm.81's substitute for the morning while Ms. Collins was away. We started off our day doing Daily 5. Jeff Stockton came today to work with our students on their story telling. All students know what their story is going to be and they have started creating a story board for their story. Students then had a snack and went to music then gym. They finished the morning having Miss Brierley lead a word family mini lesson.
In the afternoon, our students had math in their math groups. Ms. Collins class is working on estimating numbers in the hundreds through problem solving. We then had a well needed body break! We worked hard and completed our writing rubric as a class and finished our day reading more form the book "If the World Were a Village". Students were asked to write about their wonderings, questions, thoughts and feelings about what they are learning from the book and our world.
