Our Learning:
We started our morning with Daily 5. Some students finished their letters today. We will continue to work on them tomorrow. We had music then came back to our classroom for a snack and Ms. Collins read Wonder to us while we had our snack. We had gym, then came back and wrote in our Visual Journals a writing response to our novel . The question was "What would you do if you were Jack?".
After Lunch we had math. Ms. Collins math group worked on subtracting two digits by two digits. We were working on questions together and thinking of all the strategies we could use to figure out the problems in our heads! After math we had a dance and exercise body break. We finished our day learning about the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Ms. Collins read two books, "I Have the Right to be a Child", and "For Every Child". We worked in partners and wrote in our visual journals about imagine if we didn't have these rights what would that mean.
